Mama Says Namaste Podcast

Welcome to the Mama Says Namaste podcast. I’m Ashley Logsdon, joined by awesome husband Nathan as my cohost and partner in life.  As we RV the States full time and unschool our girls, we invite you not to only hear our story, but create your own.

We’ll take you from chaos to clarity by understanding personality styles, bringing awareness and intention into your home, not waiting for “one day”, and highlighting how the uniqueness in each of us strengthens all of us.

Each week we deliver a podcast that is under an hour (typically 25 min), diving deep into the topics that we believe help create an "intentional family".

For the full intro, check out episode 000: What is all this "Mama Says Namaste" Stuff?

When does your adventure start?  Are you ready for vacation?  I have a secret- it's not about where you go. It starts, my friends, between your own two ears. Adventure is a mindset.

The Power of Perspective

  1. Check Your Approach

Pay attention to your expectations, your perspective, and your attitude. If you are tense and frustrated and not communicating well, it doesn't really matter where you are - it's going to be a stressful vacation.  Check out this guided meditation to help you get in the right mindset.Check Your Approach

2. Simplify

Pull out the big dream.  Look at your family vision and think about your bucket list items as well as the feelings behind the trip you're imagining.  Look at the big vacations, and explore the tiny "staycations."

Get your mind right - your great experience is between your own two ears.

Determine what feeling you want to create to clarify why

Once you have this mindset in place, determine what you want to accomplish and work backwards from there.  Reduce it down to what one thing you can do today to make this happen.

Dumb it down to something you can do immediately to pick away at it.

2. Look for your own Acres of Diamonds
